Summer is a time for kids to explore, to experience, to sing, to play, and to laugh. It's a time for renewal, a time to make new friends, and a time to create lifelong memories. Each week of Adventure Camp has it's own theme like "Super Messy Week", "Splish-Splash", and "Time Travelers". Campers participate in numerous activites such as water games/swimming, arts and crafts, field trips, sports, and much more!
Preschool Camps : Ages 3-5
Give your preschooler the opportunity to learn grow and play while making new friends and participating in camp activities designed just for young explorers. Children will explore new worlds, expand their creativity and imagination during our half-day camps for preschoolers. Each week has it's own theme like, "Dinosaur Dig", "Backyard Camp Out", and "Splish-Splash". Offered at East Butler County Family YMCA, Fitton Family YMCA and Middletown Area Family YMCA at Miami University Middletown.
Adventure Camps : Ages 6-12

YMCA Camp Campbell Gard
Since 1926, YMCA Camp Campbell Gard has been dedicated to “Character Through Camping.” YMCA Camp Campbell Gard has provided thousands of campers with an unforgettable experience that includes adventure, fun and friendship! Our summer camp offers outstanding programs which encourage campers to grow in spirit, mind, and body. We offer a wide variety of hands-on, outdoor activities including but not limited to; horseback riding, mountain biking, high and low ropes courses, sports, swimming, creative arts, zip lining, archery, canoeing and so much more. Sports & Sports Skills Camps
Have a blast while improving your game or while learning to play a sport. The primary goals of our sports camps are to teach the participant sports specific skills, character development in a group atmosphere, and provide a combination of instruction and teamwork. Our non-competitive environment, enthusiastic counselors, and sports activities all add up to a memorable experience. Options vary by branch.
New this year at the East Butler County YMCA! Enhancement camps are being moved to the afternoon to allow for the children to participate in Outdoor Pool Time!
Confidence is the peace of mind you'll have when you know your child has a healthy respect for the aquatic environment. Aquatic camp specializes in combining traditional day camp activities with aquatic education and fun! Our fully qualified and friendly instructors teach the safest way to enjoy all water activities. Campers also have the opportunity to try outdoor education, group games, and arts and crafts.
Art Around Town
Art Around Town is a collaboration between the YMCA, the Fitton Center for Creative Arts and Pyramid Hill Sculpture Park & Museum. Children ages 7 to 12 years may register to attend a camp that combines exciting arts experiences with physical activities, both indoors and outdoors in this full-day camp!
Participants will be introduced to art instruction including drawing, painting, sculpture and building, using new and recycled materials to create, and see nature as an artist views it. Throughout the day, YMCA staff will lead energizing physical games and activities.
Weekly Themes: Sketching & Painting - June 18-22, Sculpture & Shaping- July 9-13
Daily drop-off/pick-up location is the Fitton Family YMCA; transportation to other locations is provided. Each camp is offered Monday-Friday 9am-4pm. Before & After camp care is available on a limited basis at the Fitton Family YMCA.

Teen camp programs are geared toward leadership development, cultural awareness, self-esteem, and community involvement. Campers participate in all Adventure Camp field trips and receive training in CPR, First Aid, and fitness and water safety throughout the summer
