So, during my training session on Tuesday, I experienced another “first” in the gym. (My apologies to anyone who was in the freeweights section around 7:15 Tuesday night… lol)

Last week, my trainer switched up my routine to a circuit-style workout.  Rather than doing an exercise, then resting in between, I’m now doing 6 exercises, then resting.  It definitely gets my heart rate up, and I’m not completely used to the feeling yet.   So, anyway… after completing my 3rd circuit, I was resting, when all of a sudden, I threw up!

Thankfully, it was all water, but still… yuck!  I’m just glad it didn’t leave a mess… it looked like there was a tiny puddle of water on the floor, and like I had dumped water all down the front of my shirt.  I was really embarrassed!   My trainer said not to worry… it happens sometimes, and that I had just been pushed to my max effort.  I give him credit – he handled it very well… stayed very calm and

Needless to say, I was done for the evening after that!  I texted my friends and told them what happened, and they told me it was awesome… not the reaction I was expecting, lol!  I didn’t feel very awesome driving home, smelling like vomit… haha!

Now that it’s been a couple days, I can look back on the situation and laugh. Although, it’s an experience that I don’t want to repeat anytime soon!
