Prepare for a Bright Future through our Extended Day Preschool Program

Preschool is an important milestone in the growth and development of children worldwide, and the Great Miami Valley YMCA has provided children with meaningful learning opportunities for decades. Our passion is to help children and youth become successful adults, so we strive to teach our core values of caring, honesty, respect, responsibility, and faith to every child in our programs. 

Our preschool program utilizes play as the primary learning method. This method allows children to discover new and fun activities such as block building, dramatic play, art, and outdoor exploration. We also foster social skills like sharing, taking turns, and resolving conflict through group interactions in our nurturing classroom environment.  Foundational concepts like literacy, math, and science are introduced with the research-based Creative Curriculum and teachers observe and assess each child's progress within the age-appropriate activities.

• Monday - Friday, 9:30am - 3:00pm
• Ages 3 - 5 years & must be fully potty trained
• $50 Registration Fee (non-refundable)
