Early Learning Center

In YMCA Early Learning programs, children will learn in a nurturing environment. With highly trained teachers and staff, our premier child care centers cater to parents that value their children's education. Our goal is to provide a safe, nurturing, and enriching environment for young children to learn, thrive, and grow.

Our programs are designed to meet the developmental needs of young children ages six weeks to five years. We provide experiences that enhance and enrich each child’s cognitive, language, social emotional, physical and creative development. Each class is designed to foster each child’s ability to develop a positive self-concept through a balance of self-directed activities and teacher-assisted activities. Opportunities for solitary play, as well as group activities are provided.

Child Care for School Age Children is available through our Y Before and After School Enrichment programs, as well as, our Summer Day Camp Program.

What Your Child Will Learn

Through our child care services, children have the opportunity to prepare and reach new levels of development. During their time with us, children will learn:

  • Social skills: By working with both teachers and other children, we help each child understand how to communicate their thoughts and feelings effectively.

  • Focus: Through the day-to-day activities children engage in at our facilities, they will be able to focus more on learning as well as tasks for a longer period of time. They will be better prepared for their later education.

  • Motivation: Our child care focuses on instilling a desire to learn into each child that passes through our doors. We strive to help them keep that desire throughout their entire life.

Our teachers care deeply for each child they work with and work every day to help them succeed.
