SCHOOLS DAY OUT 

We know that just because schools may be off for the day, doesn’t mean that you don’t have to work.  Your child will continue to have fun, stay connected to their friends, and be active during schools breaks and snow days at the Y. 

If you are currently enrolled in a Y Before & After School Enrichment (Y BASE) location there is NO NEED to register for Schools Day Out.   

For families in need of only Schools Day Out registration, fill out the Registration Survey and a Y employee will contact you to complete the registration process.  Plan ahead, registrations must be completed 1 week prior to the start date. 

Cost: 

$35/day for anyone not currently enrolled in a Y BASE program. SDO is included in fees for Y BASE Program Participants. Break weeks are not included in Y BASE fees, regardless of enrollment in Y BASE program; additional charges will occur.

County Vouchers are accepted for SDO.  Parents are responsible for making placement in advance for scheduled days off and day of for snow days. If placement is not made, parents will be responsible for full price of program. Email Job & Family Services or log into their self service portal.

What to bring to the Y: 

  • Swim suit & towel 

  • Refillable water bottle
